Love it

This app used to be good.

This app used to be a great metronome app. I used it almost daily. But then they started adding paywalls. I am not paying $60 a year or $4 a week just to be able to change my time signature, or have the metronome turn off after a certain amount of time. This app has just become a piece of paywall garbage.

My thoughts

“”SUPAAAA!!!”

Too much premium

Great but majority is premium and I don’t believe in in-app purchases

🥱🙄

Have to pay for too much.

Beats per minute

I downloaded this app because I am a paramedic and a CPR and first aid instructor. I instruct my students to use this to keep time when doing CPR. It’s hard for your mind to do two things at like achieving depth and speed at the same time. With this app, it will give you your speed and you only have to concentrate on Depth. Great tool for doing COR in the field.

Why the subscription?

Why do you need a subscription to change the time signature? You didn’t used to need it. What’s the point?

Expensive

The cost is too expensive and it is worthless. Just use a different app. Trash. Don’t use.

Meh

Isn’t the best

Awful Product

I get bombarded with adds every time I try and do something, there are constantly random stutters and pauses, and now if you want to use it at all, you need a premium subscription. The only way it works for me now is when it's subdividing in sixteenths.

Good until…

I used the metronome app for years and it was never an issue until this change. I was trying to practice piano and I was going to change the time signature but I’m not allowed to unless I pay for it. I find that quite annoying. Why do I have to pay to use something that should help me? I don’t think I should have to pay for that. This was never an issue so why start it now? Everything else with the app is amazing but that is the only problem I have.

Was ok at first

I’m a classical pianist and need a decent metronome. At first this one was fine and I really liked all the options as well as the look of it. The adds were annoying, but just one click to get past them. However, the past two times I opened it it put up an add with no way to close it out, no matter how much time you waited. Basically in order to use the metronome you were forced to start a trial of something not wanted. After several times of closing it and restarting it I have just erased the app and will go download another metronome that doesn’t try to force me to buy something I don’t want. Update on 7/28: Just received a response months later from the developer of this app with the usual response about ads being necessary to keep the app free. Obviously they didn’t bother reading my comment. Of course ads are necessary to have a free app and I have no issue with seeing them or having them appear. The problem is this metronome app, after years of use by me in music practice, all of a sudden had an ad that, instead of watching it for 15 seconds or so and x-ing out of it to go back to the main app, the only way to continue using the app was to purchase the product advertised. Only then could you go back to the app. This is unacceptable and somehow seams like it shouldn’t be allowed. Adds are meant to make people aware of products and services and make them want to use them, not force unwanted products in order to continue with basic operations. I’ve started using another metronome app as there are many to choose from. This one also has ads in order to keep it free but it does them in the normal way that is perfectly acceptable.

bruh moment…

I’ve been using this app for a fat minute and there have always been cheeky ads for their premium service with hidden “no thanks” buttons, but today I found no such button. Only the option to upgrade… I just need a metronome I don’t want to play your shoddy games or use whatever crap you think is worth paying a premium. I tried reopening the app to see if it was bugged and turned my brightness up but nope they really just did that. Oh well. Downloaded another and am now leaving this as forewarning for any who happen upon it.

To Many Ads!!!

There were WAY too many ads and not to mention every time you pause the metronome you get the pop up about buying stuff for the app. I don’t want to spend my money on an app I want to use to help me learn music!

What Do They Take Us For?

What you’re actually downloading is an advertisement for their subscription based metronome; a $10 per week subscription mind you. $520.00 a year for a metronome?

Money maker

Ok. I don’t understand why people are getting this app. It’s asking for $12 a week! Just to use a metronome. It’s just a bit bizarre.

Every time I play a song it turns gray and turns off.

I Every time I play a song it turns gray and turns off.

4/5

The app does its job well but it’s annoying having to x out of an ad every time I open the app or turn of the metronome

Good

This really help me with my piano. I is super fun. But I hate the adds.

Overpriced

Way overpriced for what it does. There are much better apps for less.

Please - just let me pay for ONE app

I do not need or want 15 music apps for a weekly fee. I want to pay to unlock ONE app and just be done with it.

Great game

Metronome is fun and entertaining. I like it because it is very musical. I think you should definitely get this game because it is great.

Terrible, became a scam with the update

$12 a week subscription scam for a subpar metronome

Awesome Metronome

Been teaching for 20 years. This is a wonderful go-to app for just about every situation.

It's cool, but

it's cool, but there are better metronome apps out there. You don't even get to experience the who thing!! You have to pay, and I'm not going to pay for something that isn't even that best.

Hard To Use

App is very slow to start. There’s an annoying animated bird creature which is distracting and covers some of the settings. Nearly every time you pause the beat you get an ad which is hard to dismiss due to the tiny cancel buttons which are very hard to see (low contrast) and are far smaller than the purchase buttons.

Great timekeeper!

Simple & beautiful.

Excellent app for guided exercises.

Use it especially for guided breathing.

Great app..!

Works great!

11.99/week?! No

Need pay 11.99/week.

Great!

This is a perfect tool for those of us who just can’t help speeding up. It keeps me steady!

App has been amazing I’ve been using it to practice my beat with piano and it helped very well

Wow thanks for the app

The amount of ads infuriates me

I’m an aspiring musician and need a metronome for my work. Every. Single. Time. you pause and play the metronome there’s an ad. It’s absolutely infuriating. I understand that app developers need to make money somehow but this is absolutely the wrong way to do it. And no I’m not paying them to stop playing the ads, if you’re going to do that then why not spend your money on an actual metronome that you can hold and set without ads? it’ll cost you less i’m the long run. to anyone who needs a metronome this is not one you want. please go buy a regular metronome.

Useless

The free version is useless because of ads and pop ups and the pay version is too expensive. Who pays $12/wk for a metronome? Lots of others to choose from. Swipe left.

Metronome review

The metronome program works well. The other programs are $11.99 per week. Is this a misprint, or are these people crazy?

Yeet

Pretty good just don’t like to pay.

Pretty good app

Helps a lot when you are practicing playing an instrument.

Too many ads

Full of ads. Made it hard to practice

Best metronome ever!

I loved the metronome including its wonderful games!

So good

Love it it helps me so much I also love the games there so fun to play when bored and helps me keep rhythm at my concerts.

Does what it says

Title

Great

Best app for metronome that I’ve seen it has also improved my skill for drums

Fake discounts

I don’t recommend this app. It constantly bombards you with ads, half of which are ads for itself. It has a “Premium” feature where it removes the ads. It claims to be a “last-minute chance” for “our old buddy”, with a “discount” of 85% off, and the supposedly discounted price is $25 per year. Unless you plan to use this app for a long time and have the money to spend on the premium, I don’t recommend it. I only use it because of the visual element, where there’s an option that shows the metronome arm. Zero stars.

Good.

Good for sax.

Well made app, Premium is almost worth it to get rid of ads

Behold the title and know my opinion. Ads are incessant but it beeps and bops consistently. Beep bop bop bop

Why I like this app

This app is nice because it teaches you how to listen and catch the beat through the games and it also has a metronome.

Too many ads

It’s a metronome…who needs premium service ads for a metronome??

Dark UI (Steers Towards Ads)

Cluttered screen with distracting, intrusive, moving graphics designed to make you tap and be rammed into an ad for dev’s other games. The free trial looked promising and helpful to make purchase decision. But the free trial is a misleading minefield of Dark UI. Too bad, because I want to purchase a metronome app. But I do not trust an app/dev with a Dark UI free trial.
